G-Money's Bling Bling
$$$
One day when
G-Money was a little kid, he heard a song on the radio that changed
his perception of music for life. The song seem to go forever, but
it was not boring. It had an endless organ and guitar solo that
conjured up images of a multicolored swirling carpet made up of
serpents slithering around. Years later the song was to be
discoverd as Light My Fire by The Doors.
G-Money's world was again turned upside down one evening in the
early nineties. Standing on the top of a hill overlooking the lush
Victorian town of Bright, G-Money heard his first dose of Techno
music. It was a home made demo by an unknown friend with a female
vocal repeating the words "burning, burning, burning.....".
Previous exposure to Techno had been dismissed as Top 40 rubbish,
but this was different. It was a driving hypnotic beat with
beautiful comforting vocals.
Once the beat starts, it cannot stop. G-Money started churning out
beats of his own and soon developed a lust for all electronical
music making devices, shared very much by Jeff Marni partner in
crime, Schema.
